American Legend Homes at Treeline in Justin, TX: More Builder, More Home.
Here's part V of our Treeline Builder Breakdown series. Check out HistoryMaker, Highland Homes, David Weekley, and Tri Pointe here.
There are builders you tour because you have to, and then there are builders you tour and immediately text your client: you need to come see this one.
American Legend is one I always look forward to seeing.
I'll be honest — I stopped in my tracks once I walked through their model home at Treeline. The expansive vaulted ceilings make the entire home feel larger than life and they curate some of the best kitchens. (Because everyone loves a huge ass island right?)
What American Legend does differently from most builders is this: they build homes that feel elevated without making you feel like everything good costs extra. The standard selections already look like upgrades. The layouts are functional, so you don’t feel like you have to buy bigger for it to be better.
They're also one of the builders in Treeline offering quite a few options. Eleven floor plans, ranging from I-ain’t-doing-stairs single-story layouts to full two-story homes with game rooms, media rooms, and secondary suites for when you need to send those dang kids upstairs.
Here's the full breakdown.

Why American Legend stands out in Treeline:
A lot of builders promise "elevated finishes." American Legend delivers them at the base price. That matters more than it sounds because 9 times out 10, you fall in love with the model home and then find out it’s got 60-90k in additional updates on top of base price you were quoted online.
What you'll find inside their Treeline homes:
Soaring ceilings and fireplaces that anchor the main living space (not an upgrade — standard)
Gourmet kitchens with built-in appliances, oversized islands, and walk-in pantries with depth
Spa-style primary baths that feel more Four Seasons than builder-grade
Flexible study or optional bedroom suite options on the ground floor
Two-story plans with game rooms, media rooms, and secondary suites — great for teenagers or multi-gen living
3-car tandem garage options on select plans
It's a great fit for buyers who want to feel the quality in their brand new home.
American Legend Floor Plans Available in Treeline
American Legend offers 11 floor plans at Treeline starting in the mid $400s. Here are four of my favorites.
Plan 1544
Starting at: $464,990
1-story, 4 beds | 3 baths | ≈ 2,133 sq ft, 2-car garage | Floorplan: Downstairs // Upstairs
What I love about it: Entry-level price, but it absolutely does not feel that way. Four bedrooms on a single story at this price point is genuinely rare in this area — and the layout doesn't sacrifice anything to get there.
Plan 1560
Starting at: $469,990
1-story, 3–4 beds | 2–3 baths | ≈ 2,140–2,209 sq ft, 2-car garage | Floor Plan link: Downstairs // Upstairs
What I love about it: You don’t need a ton of extra space that you have to keep clean for nobody.

Plan 1566
Starting at: $537,990
2-story, 4–5 beds | 3–5 baths | ≈ 2,953–3,044 sq ft, 2-car garage
What I love about it: Their largest and most flexible plan. A downstairs secondary suite makes this the obvious pick for multigenerational buyers or anyone whose parents have started visiting a little more often.

Things I'd want to know before buying with American Legend at Treeline
Their standard package is better than most builders' upgrades — but there are still options worth adding. If you’re curious which upgrades are worth it and which you can do on your own down the line, I’ve got your back.
Lot selection matters here more than usual. Some lots back to [PERSONAL NOTE: what's behind certain lots — greenbelt? other homes? busy street?] — and that changes the feel of the outdoor living space significantly.
Talk to the lender, but don't feel locked in. Builders will make you feel like you have to use their preferred lender to get any offered incentives, but that is not entirely true. I have Buyers that are able to get even better deals than offered, while using an incredible lender that isn’t inundated and unreachable. (Not saying that is the case here — but often times that is the feedback I receive from my own personal buyers using a Builder’s preferred lender).
Move-in ready homes exist — and they're priced to move. Your best deals are generally always going to be the homes move in ready or completed very soon.
You should absolutely have your own representation. I do not care what anyone says — having representation is imperative, especially when buying new. The amount of new construction homes that are dealing with mold/leaks because buyers didn’t have an inspection done or anyone advocating on their behalf is quite scary. The builder rep does not and cannot represent you. They only represent the builder. This means if something goes awry, you have nobody assisting you even when it may be the builders fault. They do capitalize on Buyer’s lack of knowledge, even if unintentionally.
